Welcome to the Everett Fire Department I want to welcome you to the Everett Fire Department website. The City of Everett is located in Metropolitan Boston and has a population of 38,000. Everett is a very diverse blue collar community facing many unique challenges due to it’s dense population as well as the many energy related industries located here including a Liquified Natural Gas Marine Terminal, a 1600 Megawatt Electric Generating Plant and a Petroleum Marine Terminal and Storage Facility. The Everett Fire Department is a professional fire department employing 107 career firefighters who are dedicated to serving the citizens of Everett with the highest degree of care and professionalism. Located within Everett's 3.8 square miles are three fire stations housing three engine companies and two ladder companies which respond to over 5,000 calls per year. Fire Department services include fire suppression, emergency medical, technical rescue, hazardous materials response, fire prevention, public education, and disaster preparedness activities.
